CONTEST
Enter for a chance to be one of six photographers featured in the October 2012 issue of Adore Noir magazine. Portfolios will be reviewed by: Chris Kovacs, Editor, Adore Noir Magazine and renowned gallerist Susan Spiritus of the Susan Spiritus Gallery. The six photographers chosen will receive a twelve page spread along with a Q&A interview in Adore Noir magazine. One of the six finalists will have an image chosen by Susan Spiritus to appear on the cover. The cover image will also appear on the Adore Noir website with a link to the selected photographers website for two months ($300.00 value)
The contest is open to anyone, any age, anywhere.
ENTRY FEES
The fee is $15.00 (CAD) for the first portfolio. Additional portfolios can be submitted for $10.00 (CAD) each. There is no limit to the number of portfolios you can submit. We are looking for 12 to 14 images that follow a unified theme. Payment is accepted by all major credit cards and by PayPal. The current exchange rate will be calculated automatically.
Once your images are uploaded you will receive a link to the email address you specify to complete payment. (payment link may take up to 8 hours to be emailed to you) Payment must be completed within 24 hours of receiving the payment link. Once images have been submitted and payment is completed there are no refunds. All uploads are final and may not be changed.
WHAT TO SEND
We only accept black & white images via this form. Please ensure images are at 72ppi with the longest side no greater than 800 pixels.Each image must not exceed 150kb.You will be asked for higher resolution images if your portfolio is selected.
DEADLINE
Contest is open from Jan 1, 2012 to June 15, 2012. All submissions must be received no later than June 15, 2012.
NOTIFICATION
The selection process will take place from June15 to August 1, 2012. Successful photographers will be notified by email. And must be available to submit all required materials for publication by September 1, 2012.
